ESSAY 6 (Interview)

Petra joined a terrorist group years ago and during this special conversation we'll know more about this dark world and what Petra's reasons were to leave the group two years ago.

James Swan: Petra, welcome and thank you for accepting our invitation.

Petra: Thank you for inviting me and let me explain how is life belonging to a terrorist group.

J.S: First of all, our audience have to know that Petra isn't our real name. Why do you use a nickname?

Petra: Well, I have to think about my family, and giving my real name to the media could imply several problems to them.

J.S: I understand... So, you admit having belonged to a terrorist group some time ago. Explain us what the group ideology was.

Petra: The group wanted to fight against the radical "ultra-dreta" and fascists goups which continue existing in our country.

JS: So all the violents actions the group committed were focused on this type of radical groups?

Petra: Yes, we never wanted to hurt any innocent person.

J.S: Have you ever got any problem with the police?

Petra: Yes, that was the reason why I left the group. During an action the police came and other integrants of the group and me were arrested. I didn't have a police record, so I only had to spend one year in prison.

J.S: After this time in prison, did you think about the possibility of returning to the group?

Petra: Well, first I thought so much about that, but then I got pregnant and I forgot any idea of returning to the group.

J.S: Are you sorry for what you did?

Petra: No, I think the group attacked bad people so I think it's justified.

J.S: Well Petra, thank you for being so brave and sharing your experience with us.

Petra: Thank you to give me the oportunity!

OPINION ESSAY

Currently, some famous sportmen earn a lot of money. In my opinion, they shouldn't be paid this amount of money because it is unethical and unfair.

Firstly, I believe that there are people with employments more prestigious for society, like doctors, who have the responsibility to save lives, or lawyers, who represent justice. They earn not enough money, compared to the sportmen's salary.
Secondly, there is a considerable inequality between sportmen and sportwomen pay. The reason of this is that sportwomen are less valued than men.
An example of this is brands like Adidas which earn a lot of money thanks to people who pay for it. And this is not all: on the world it exists a lot of injustices like these and together we should stop them!

To sum up, I think sportmen don’t deserve to earn this amount of money, because they don’t work enough to earn such an amount.
